Meal Plan Options

With the following Meal Plan options, you will never have to worry about being able to eat! Having a Meal Plan will save you tax, and won’t leave you scrambling for cash when you are hungry!

Please Note: All students living in a traditional residence hall on campus are required to purchase a Meal Plan. Purchasing a Meal Plan is optional for campus apartment residents and commuters.

Meals

Your meals are intended for use in our all-you-care-to-eat Main Dining Hall. However, meals can also be used in our retail locations through the meal-equivalency option. Each time you use a meal, it is subtracted from the number of meals on your plan.

Flex Points

Flex Point amounts come with each plan designed for dorm residents. Basically it is a “declining balance account” that works on the same principle as a debit card. You can use your Flex to purchase beverages, snacks or even a full meal in any of our campus dining locations. Each time you make a purchase, the purchase amount is subtracted from your Flex Points balance. It’s better than cash because Flex Points are tax-free! However, Flex Points do notcarry over from semester to semester. If your Flex Points run low, Dining Dollars can be added to your account at any time by visitingthe More Card Office, or by calling 1-866-914-6673.

Super Flex

A specified amount of Super Flex comes with each plan designed for apartment residents and commuters. Super Flex works the same way as Flex Points; however, they will carry from the Fall semester to the Spring semester.

Dining Dollars

Any additional declining balance amount purchased by any student (whether you have a mandatory, voluntary or no meal plan) is called Dining Dollars. Dining Dollars will roll over semester to semester. They do not expire even after graduation. Additionally, any Dining Dollars left on your card may be refunded for a nominal fee.
